1991-2002 is no doubt the golden era of the NBA. The Bad Boy Detroit Pistons. Patrick Ewing and the Knicks. Charles Barkley and the Pheonix Suns. Malone and Stockton's Uta Jazz. Reggie Miller and the Pacers. Hakeem and the Rockets. Sean Kemp and the Sonics. Shaq and the Magic. David Robinson and the Spurs. Clyde Drexler and the Trailblazers. Kobe and the Lakers. The greatest basketball player of all time...MICHAEL JORDAN and the Chicago Bulls. There will never be another era in professional basketball as exciting as the 1990s and early 2000s. NBC was home to the greatest show on earth especially during the NBA Finals. This theme instantly takes me back to that awesome period in professional basketball history. The modern game is dead. It won't matter if the NBA returns to NBC, and they use this theme again. All it will do is remind me of when the NBA was better. Honestly, they should let this theme rest with the era it belongs to.
